Mr. and Mrs. Randall W. Hamilton announce the birth of their daughter, Michelle Anne, on June 27, 1975 at Spelman Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Dannie R. Stamper of Platte City are the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hamilton of Richmond, Mo., are the paternal grandparents.


Mr. and Mrs. Max Fryrear of Platte City, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Lynn, to Danny Joe Kyle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Kyle of Dearborn. Miss Fryrear is currently employed at Norleigh’s Beauty Shop in Parkville. Her fiancé is employed at Curt’s 29’er Service Station, Dearborn.

A shower will be given Monday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hershley on the lawn at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Baber. The Hershley home was destroyed by fire Saturday. Everyone is welcome.


The Cherub & Muffets and Full House Inc. shop of children and men’s clothing will have their Grand Opening July 11th. Watch for their advertisement in the July 11th issue of The Landmark.


The Landmark starts its 111th year of continuous publication with this July 4th issue.


The 81st annual Gabbert Reunion will be held Sunday, July 13, 1975 at Bennett Park in Liberty at Shelter house No. 3. All relatives and friends are urged to attend. A basket dinner will be enjoyed at 1 p.m.
