Rosetta is the daughter of Buddie and Sherry Collins of Platte Woods. Stephen is the son of Thomas and Annette Clements of Platte City.

The Landmark starts its 126th year of continuous publication. The newspaper, oldest in Platte County and one of the oldest in the state, has been published without interruption since 1865. The paper was purchased from Mrs. Lucile L. Jones by Dwayne Foley in 1979 and continues to be owned and published by the Foley family.
The Platte City Board of Aldermen has invited seven candidates for the position of city administrator to come to Platte City on Saturday, June 23. Alderman Dennis Meyer told the board Tuesday night that the seven candidates, including one woman, would get the opportunity to see the town and could be interviewed at different times by the board members. Meyer is chairman of a city administrator search committee.
