Want to raise chickens within the city limits of Dearborn?

If your answer is yes, you’ll want to be at what is being called a “town hall chat” on the issue.

The chat is set for this Saturday, June 8 at 6 p.m. at the Dearborn Community Center.

The gathering for discussion is being hosted by the City of Dearborn elected officials. Talk will focus on the possibility of “rescinding the ban to allow chickens within the city limits of Dearborn,” states a public posting announcing the gathering.

“Please note this is a get-together to discuss the issue of chickens, no vote will be taken at this assembly,” states the public notice.
