Details sketchy on shootings near Farley

Authorities are still trying to find answers after two people were shot last week near Farley.

At about 5 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 18, the Platte County Sheriff’s Department received a call about a possible hunting accident. When authorities arrived, they found Austin Devlin, 14, and Perry Kohrs, 20, both shot in the leg.

According to Capt. Frank Hunter with the Platte County Sheriff’s Department, Kohrs was hunting with Devlin when both were shot. Hunter said there were other people hunting in the area but no one has admitted to shooting either man. Hunter said the investigation is still ongoing. Both victims were taken to area hospitals after the shooting.
