Christmas trees can be dropped off at county sitePlatte County residents have an option to recycle their Christmas trees for free.
Trees can be taken to the Platte County Road and Bridge Department, 15955 Hwy 273, Tracy, from Dec. 26 to Jan. 31.
The service is free and open to Platte County residents only. Contact: (816) 858-2223
Trees will either be ground into mulch or used to improve fish habitats.
