To Scott Fricker, Platte County Commissioner:

Your recent letter to the editor contained some of the lamest excuses for not implementing the voter approved tax for mental health that I could possibly imagine.

What hubris! This 30% vs. 100% is nonsense. The law is that if you don’t like a proposal on the ballot, you ease yourself out of your easy chair and go vote against it. This didn’t happen!

No one reasonable person would believe that you did this for the protection of Platte County citizens rather than for your own personal agenda.

But it’s good to know that you and Kelly are doing your part for mental health. I’m sure Joe and Dagmar are doing the same.

Just remember that “56%” will be the standard used to judge all Platte County Republican candidates in the future.
