Police say the driver and front passenger were wearing their seatbelts and suffered minor injuries. The drivers of the Chevy and Volkswagen were not injured in the collision. They both were wearing their seatbelts.
Kansas City police said this is the 31st fatality crash in the city this year, compared to 38 at this time last year.
