SPREAD SHEET DISPLAYS A WEALTH OF INFORMATION
Platte County Assessor Marcus Farr has posted the results of every single Platte County Board of Equalization hearing on tax appeals for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025.
A detailed and informational spread sheet lists items such as the name of the appealing taxpayer, the taxpayer’s requested value of the property, the assessor’s appraised value for property, and the final value determination made by the board of equalization.
The spread sheet also lists the date of the hearing, whether the property is commercial or residential, and which school district the property is in.
Also listed are the percentage and dollar differences between what the assessor had appraised the property and what the BOE’s final value was.
“I campaigned on full transparency and that is exactly what I am going to do,” Farr said this week.
