Franchisees Amy and Andy Gallawa are expanding in the Northland with the new location. The Gallawa family already owns the location at I-29 and Barry Road.

The Metro North Crossing Chick-fil-A will include a dual drive-thru with a new store format design at the corner of Barry Road and Wyandotte, adjacent to Dutch Bros. Coffee. A late 2025 opening is anticipated.

Metro North recently announced that the Winter family will open a fourth location of their Furniture Mall brand, taking 150,000 square feet of the former Macy’s that is anticipated to open by the end of the year.

About Metro North Crossing
Metro North Crossing is a 106-acre mixed use redevelopment on the former site of the Metro North Mall. The total projected cost of the development is estimated at more than $250M with an estimated $100M invested to date on the completed phases, including the $60M Woodstone luxury apartments.

The development is already home to T-Shotz, a 52,000-square-foot golf entertainment attraction, as well as Whataburger, Hawaiian Bros., Dutch Bros., Thai Orchid, Bloom Nails & Spa, Third Street Social, Select Physical Therapy and Hullhouse Coffee.

Metro North Crossing is the third major mall redevelopment for IAS Partners, the local development team which also completed the redevelopment of the Antioch Center Mall and the Blue Ridge Mall.
