CANDIDATE FILINGS OPENS DEC. 10

Persons wishing to file as candidates for election to the board of education of the Platte County R-3 School District must file at the District Education Center located at 998 Platte Falls Road, Platte City.

Two positions are open for this election. Seats being filled are currently held by Shawn Chiddix and Mike Matousek. The term of office is three years. The election will be held April 8.

Filing opens on Dec. 10 and will be open for all candidates at 8 am. Candidate filing will continue via the schedule below until its conclusion on Dec. 31, at 5 p.m.

·Dec. 11-13, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
