Platte County residents 60 and older needing transportation for medical, dental, pharmacy, grocery, hospital visitation of immediate family and essential business have the option to use this program. Rides must be within Missouri and are limited to a 50-mile radius. Residents of communities providing transportation are not eligible for this no cost program.

A ride may be scheduled by calling the Platte County Senior Fund, 816-270-2800, no later than 2 p.m. the day before it is needed.

The Mobility Management Pilot Transportation Program funding the no-cost program was signed into law by Gov. Mike Parson in June. This program includes Platte and Clay counties and Jefferson City.
