The annual Applefest celebration in Downtown Weston is set for Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6.

Included in the festival are arts and crafts vendors, varieties of food, live music, apple butter demonstrations, many kids’ games and a host of autumn delights–including apple dumplings.

For decades, Historic Weston’s Applefest has been the region’s biggest celebration, marking the harvest season and all things apple.

There will be an apple-themed parade, Apple Alley, apple treats, and more crafters and artisans than ever before, entertainment and exhibits on the streets of Downtown Weston.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Hours are Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Apple dumplings will be served directly at the Weston Christian Church at 540 Washington Street.

For answers to questions and more information, call the Weston Chamber of Commerce at 816-640-2909.
