A Weston police officer has been arrested and charged with selling a controlled substance near a school. Kyle Zumbrunn, 26, was arrested Sept. 22 in Atchison, Kan. for allegedly selling prescription drugs oxycodone and morphine within 1,000 feet of a school. Zumbrunn was released on a $40,000 bond.

The human resources department handles payroll and benefits for county employees. On Friday, Siobhann Williams, county auditor held a press conference in which she announced that she is in the process of auditing the county’s human resources department. She provided the media a list of problems she says her office has uncovered with payroll issues over the past two and a half years.
