Tip of the cap to Democrats. They are far superior at insurrections than Republicans. They overthrew the government right before our very eyes without climbing through a single window. I bet Democrat primary voters would like that 15 minutes of their life back. It was cute of them to let you vote.

Remarkable level of gaslighting over the last few years from this administration. Dude was the brightest bulb in the room up until two weeks ago and then he was nearly ready to be committed to a home. I guess age can sneak up on you like that. Wait for the pardons. That’s going to be an interesting Saturday morning news drop.

I’m pretty grateful that they got Joe to go. I would hate to have to go through another round of COVID just to keep Trump out of office, but I assume that was in the playbook.

I’m also grateful that Hillary has not had anyone killed over this yet. Yet is probably the operative word.

I got last week’s Landmark and started reading it on my walk back from the mailbox and damn near had to turn a garden hose on it. That thing was FIRE. The Foley column was for the ages, and I’ve seen this Ivan before. He’s not done. When a commissioner insults him by saying he will “talk slower” so Foley can understand, there is a very good chance Foley will be firing back for the next 10 or 20 years. I’ll cite my source: Nan.

Beyond those nuggets, the letters to the editor were well thought out opinions that are lacking nearly every other news outlet these days. It’s easy to be a keyboard cowboy and spout off a few sentences on a random Facebook page, but a good, well written letter to the editor is a throwback to times when people provided rational thought to their opinions. Warms my heart to see a page full of opinions.

Can the states that held Democratic Presidential primaries get their money back?

With all due respect to Foley, I’ve talked slowly to him many times and it doesn’t really change his opinion or comprehension. I’ve called him a few times a few beers in, and he seems to comprehend things ok. I’m not sure the speed at which you express opinion or misrepresent facts is much of a concern for him. He’s never been shot in the ear as far as I can tell, at least I never saw him with a big bandage on his ear. Anyway, might as well talk normal speed to him, slowing it down doesn’t change the outcome much.

At the current pace, I am a little concerned that Foley will not be invited to cut the ribbon for the first pod placement at the new No Rusty Vents Correctional Center and that makes me sad. I suppose the tide could turn and he’ll get the invite but seems less than likely at this point. Maybe we can get an inmate to scratch his name into a vent cover or something.

I sure hope George Clooney approves of the next President, or I assume we have to go through all this again. Sure glad this administration saved democracy; we live in a special time.
