Closures set for Hwy. 45

The Missouri Department of Transportation will perform resurfacing operations on Hwy. 45 in southern Platte County next week, requiring the following lane and ramp closures. All work is weather permitting.

·Crews will close one lane in each direction on Hwy. 45 starting Wednesday, June 12 at 7 p.m. until Thursday, June 13 at 6 a.m.

·The off ramp from northbound I-29 to Hwy. 45 will be closed starting Wednesday, June 12 at 7 p.m. until Thursday, June 13 at 6 a.m.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
