Parkville Living Center to offer meals to seniors

Mid America Regional Council (the Area Agency on Aging) is supporting a congregate meal program at the Parkville Living Center beginning May 20.
Hot meals, catered by Don Bosco, will be served on Mondays and Wednesdays at noon. A third day is planned in the future.

Meals are free for those 60 and older and those between 18 and 59 with disabilities. A $2 donation is suggested.

While everyone is welcome, those who do not meet the age requirements will be required to pay the cost of $5.75. Reservations for Wednesday lunch must be made by noon on Tuesday and for Monday’s lunch the preceding Friday.

The Parkville Living Center is located in the Parkville Presbyterian Church, 819 Main, Parkville. Ground floor access from the parking lot is provided on the south side of the building.
