The bride is Mrs. Paul Renz, who before her marriage on March 9 at St. Therese Catholic Church, was Mary Janice Pratt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace B. Pratt, Parkville, The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy C. Renz, Platte City. Mr. and Mrs. Renz are at home in Platte City.


Mr. and Mrs. Michael W. Head of Weston announce the birth of their son, Andrew Wayne, on April 16, 1979 at Spelman Memorial Hospital. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. N. William Wills of Farley. The paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Head of Barry Heights.


Lorraine Renz, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Renz, of Platte City, was recently initiated in the Central Missouri State University chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, an honorary English fraternity with the purpose of advancing the study of the chief literary masterpieces as well as promoting the mastery of the written expression. Miss Renz is a senior psychology major at the university.


Theodore J. Perkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C. Perkins, has completed six weeks of intensive training at TWA Breech Training Academy in Overland Park and has been awarded the Wings of a TWA flight attendant. He will be based in Boston, Mass. Ted is a 1976 graduate of Platte County R-3 High School.
