It’s official: Mushrooms are in the Platte County area. Gary Pixler, Platte City, says he found these two on Monday morning ‘just taking a peek.’ Pixler says mushroom hunters should be on the ready. “The forecast of rain later today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday) will set them off,” he says.
