A new tanning salon is now open in Platte City and it was the site of a ribbon cutting event put on by the Platte City Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, March 7. Owners Vic (center, holding plaque) and Amie Perrin (with scissors cutting ribbon) have opened Total Tan at 1306 Platte Falls Road. It’s the second Total Tan location in operation for the Perrins, joining the original location at 8704 N. Ambassador Dr., Kansas City in Platte County. Before and after the ribbon cutting, Total Tan offered finger foods, beverages and free gifts to all in attendance. Phone number at the Platte City location is 816.431.6036.
