Serious injuries resulted when a Harley-Davidson crashed on the Interstate 29 southbound ramp to southbound Interstate 635 near Riverside.
According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Friday, Sept. 1 at 12:24 p.m. Delbert M. Bishop, 51, of Nevada, Mo., was driving a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The report indicates the motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. Bishop was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to North Kansas City Hospital by Kansas City Fire.
The highway patrol was assisted at the scene by the Riverside Police Department and the Kansas City Police Department.
