Six young ladies are in the running to be named the 2023 Platte County Fair Queen. The queen is set to be crowned on opening night of the fair, which is running this Wednesday through Saturday, July 19-22. Candidates are, from left: Blair Bolling, 18, daughter of Kit and Brad Bolling; Madison Britz, 18, daughter of Shawn and Christy Britz; Hailey Hagg, 19, daughter of Joe and Melissa Hagg; Ashlyn Iman, 18, daughter of Cristal and Kurt Iman; Rachel Reichert, 22, daughter of Mark and Lori Reichert; Karson Suiter, 19, daughter of Timothy Suiter and Tricia Hecker.  All are graduates of Platte County High School.
