SATURDAY FROM 10-3 AT SHOAL CREEK
The Shoal Creek reenactors will bring the village to life this Saturday, June 10 at the Shoal Creek Living History Museum.
The event is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Shoal Creek Living History Museum, 7000 NE Barry Road, Kansas City.
Reenactors will perform skits throughout the day. The setting will be the year 1875 with gunfighters, outlaws, lawmen and mountain men roaming the streets.
Enjoy family fun activities and historical demonstrations of life in Missouri during the 19th century.
The event will be held rain or shine. Admission will be $5 per person, those under age three are free.
Shoal Creek Living History Museum strives to recreate the atmosphere of a small community around the time of the Civil War and is dedicated to the preservation of Missouri’s early history and architecture. The museum is located in Hodge Park, Kansas City and is operated by the Shoal Creek Association, a completely volunteer group, set up as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization
