Mr. and Mrs. Warren Jones of Parkville have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their granddaughter, Debbie Kay Jones, to Stacey Wynn Sisney, the son of Mrs. Sharon Rich of Gainesville, Mo. Debbie is the daughter of Doug Senter of Kansas City and the late Doris Kincaid of Tracy. She is a 1987 graduate of Platte County R-3 High School. The couple plans an outdoor wedding on June 19, 1993 at the home of Debbie’s grandparents in Parkville.

Platte City Mayor Pearl Brown signed a proclamation recognizing May 4 as National Teachers Day in Platte City as part of observances recognizing teachers this week.
