A two-car crash in Kansas City in the Northland killed two people last Wednesday night, April 26.

Kansas City police officers responded to the intersection of NW 68th Street and N. Liberty Street, east of Interstate 29 and 64th Street. Police believe a BMW was headed east on NW 68th Street when the vehicle struck a Toyota that was turning south of N. Liberty Street. The impact forced the Toyota off the roadway. The driver and the passenger of the Toyota were transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Both later died at the hospital.
