The real reasons for Thanksgiving: For the freedom of choice; for the many blessings that are ours that so many thousands throughout the world are not privileged to enjoy; for our heritage that we in the United States are privileged to appreciate; that we can worship as we choose; that we have the right to a free ballot and the right to grow as our abilities permit; let us, one with others, go to the church of our choice in sincere appreciation for our many blessings; let us join together in prayer that the world will be at peace; let us pledge our faith in the goodness of our beloved country as was the privilege of our forebearers who celebrated the first Thanksgiving.
