What can you say other than Da Bears….
Week Seven’s upset game of the week for Landmark Pick’em was Da Bears vs the New England Patriots. You could possibly lump the Tampa Bay vs the Panthers game into that category as well, but for the last-minute twist Da Bears had on the week’s final results.
Poor Tech Guy Schneider. He went to bed Monday night with a sense of satisfaction that the automated testing account named “Landmark Digital” would place first overall and that Schneider would possess the ultimate smack-talking card to hold over Foley’s head in the morning. Schneider’s AI was going to win it all with Foley coming in dead last in the Landmark Staff league. Not only that, but Schneider’s personal account under a different pseudonym was in position to place first in another sub-league among his co-workers as well. Schneider was on a roll – it was going to be glorious – despite not liking the Patriots, he convinced himself to stick with his original pick.
The next morning Schneider woke up to a simple text message that read “Da Bears”… Bummer.
