Four graduates of Platte County R-3 High School are current members of the Chiefs Rumble Drumline. From left: Devon Schmidt, Zoey Bedrosian, Callie Curtis and Cade McGinness.  They were all four in band all four years of high school and play or played in their college bands. There are about 20 members of the drumline performing at Kansas City Chiefs home games. The tryout for becoming a member of the drumline is very long and time consuming, and they are told ‘the Chiefs only take the best.’ The Rumbles perform before the game all around the stadium, getting the fans in the spirit. They also are on the field with a performance before the game. During halftime they perform out by the circular entrances to the seats. The drumline is also requested to perform at many different events during football season all over the Kansas City area.
