Taco Bell opens at new development in Parkville
There’s a new bell on the block.
A Taco Bell at a new development in Parkville will celebrate its grand opening this Friday, Aug. 19.
The Parkville Taco Bell is located at 7085 Elizabeth Street in the new Creekside Development at the intersection of I-435 and Hwy. 45 on the west end of Parkville.
Restaurant officials say on Friday doors will open at 7 a.m. and the first 100 guests are scheduled to receive a free combo meal.
The Parkville restaurant is owned and operated by Diversified Restaurant Group, a company that owns nearly 300 Taco Bell locations across California, Nevada, Kansas and Missouri. The group employs more than 5,000 team members, the company said in a press release.
In addition to eating space inside the vibrantly-colored new location, drive-thru and mobile order capabilities are offered, as well. The restaurant also offers online ordering for delivery.
“The restaurant will offer all of the Taco Bell Mexican-inspired fan favorites of tacos, burritos, nachos and more,” the company said in its news release.
“With the store design, people who live and work in Parkville can Live Mas more conveniently than ever before, with the drive-thru and mobile order capabilities. The restaurant offers guests a first-hand look at Diversified Restaurant Group and Taco Bell’s enhanced store experience, with a modern look that provides a fresh and customer-centric environment,” the company says.
On Sunday afternoon the restaurant was open and serving customers, in advance of the grand opening set for Friday.

NEW AT CREEKSIDE
The Creekside Development has dramatically changed the look of the area near the I-435 and Hwy. 45 intersection. In addition to residential development, much commercial development is taking place as well.
Some of the businesses that have either already opened or are planned to open in the near future include a second convenience store known as The Station, Burger King, Wells Bank, Taco Bell, Ten and Two Coffee, Anytime Fitness, Johnny’s Tavern, Blush Fitness, Smoothie King, Char Bar, Bubbles Liquore Store, Plaza Mariachi (Mexican Restaurant), Xgolf, Gusto Coffee Shop, Nail Salon, Boho Brewery, Creekside Hotel, and many more.
