The original Brookside Barrio opened in February of 2018, followed by Red Bridge Barrio in June of 2019.

With the success of the first two, owners Chris Ridler and Luke Pickett saw potential to open a third Barrio location.

Briarcliff Barrio, located at 4125 North Mulberry Drive in Kansas City, sits at 5,000 square feet with a 100-person patio. It is at the spot formerly occupied by a Jose Pepper’s restaurant.

Briarcliff Barrio serves an expanded menu, with classic Mexican dishes, specialty tacos and a variety of brunch options.

The restaurant is also a gathering place with its happy hour, tequila list, and specialty margaritas.

There is a private event space that can accommodate 50 seated guests or 75 standing guests.

Open seven days a week, Briarcliff Barrio serves lunch, dinner, happy hour, and weekend brunch with bottomless mimosas.

Briarcliff Barrio is open Monday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 11 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Reservations can be made on Yelp.
