Carter Lanning meets Peyton Manning, legendary NFL quarterback

Carter Lanning, Platte City Middle School sixth grader, met NFL legend Peyton Manning in Aurora, Colo., on Sunday, June 12. Carter Lanning participated in the Triple Crown Baseball Summer Slam Tournament June 11-12 with his teammates from Building Champions-SC. Their team was one of three out-of-state teams playing in Colorado, and ended up winning the tournament. Peyton Manning’s son, Marshall, was a member of one of the teams participating in the tournament.
