The Zeros, a band focusing on tunes from the 1980s performed Friday night at Central Park in Zona Rosa, the outdoor shopping complex in Platte County at I-29 and Barry Road. A large crowd of music fans, some of whom got to their feet and danced along, were on hand for the first of many concerts scheduled through the summer at Zona Rosa. The Zeros, who grew up in St. Joseph, ripped through a playlist of popular 1980s hits in a nearly two-hour show without taking a break. Members of the band include Brad Gaddy, Shawn Poores and Larry Groce. One night later a band called the Suburbans performed at Zona, making it most of the way through their planned time on stage before raindrops forced them to quit earlier than planned. Live music can be found every Friday and Saturday night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Central Park near the Bravo restaurant at Zona Rosa.
