At the classroom wing, the exterior façade is nearly complete and sidewalks have started. Inside trades are finishing ceilings, cabinetry, and lighting, and the elevator has been placed. Over the next month, polished floors, and mechanical finishes will occur. In the common areas, drywall has started in the cafeteria, and mechanical trades continue to rough in overhead equipment in the lower level. As soon as the 2021-22 school year finishes, Thomas Drive between Paxton Center and the PCHS main building will be closed for site and traffic improvements.
