The first electronics recycling event of the year 2022 will be conducted by the City of Parkville, working in partnership with Midwest Recycling Center, on Saturday, Feb. 5.
The event is set from 9 a.m. to noon in Platte Landing Park. It is open to anyone, not just Parkville residents.
Essentially anything with a cord or battery, working or not, is collected. Most items are recycled for free but some are recycled for a fee to cover the cost to properly and safely dispose of the items.
