Miss Katherine Ann Wilson and Gregory Max Hunt were married in the presence of their immediate families on Dec. 18, 1976 at the Platte City home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Murray Wilson II. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Hunt, also of Platte City.


Mr. and Mrs. Jim Parrett left Sunday to attend the inaugural ceremonies, parade, and other festivities in Washington, D.C. this week.

Mrs. Emma Andrews has received word that she is a great-grandmother. A daughter was born Sunday to Mr. and Mrs. Dave Foster. She weighed seven pounds and has been named Jennifer. Dave is with the Navy and had to leave Sunday for nine months of submarine duty.


Airman Teddy E. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alwayn Campbell of Platte City, has graduated at Keesler AFB, Miss., from the U.S. Air Force. He will be assigned to Fort Lee, Va. His wife, Mrs. Billie Campbell, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Rule of Ferrelview.


Jeremy and Jennifer Grisham, twin son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Grisham of Platte City, celebrated their second birthday Jan. 15 with a party in their honor.
