US Bank in Platte County robbed

The US Bank located near Interstate 29 and 64th Street was robbed Monday afternoon, Jan. 10.

The FBI said a man walked into the US Bank at 6405 N. Cosby Avenue, Kansas City in Platte County, on Monday at 4:45 p.m., walked up to a teller and demanded money. Allegedly the man made a threat and showed a gun, officials said.

Officials described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 50s, about 5’8″ tall and a stocky build. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
