Mr. and Mrs. Billy G. Cox announce the engagement of their daughter Judy to Thomas G. Richmond, son of Dr. George Richmond of St. Joseph, Mo., and the late Mrs. Richmond. The wedding is planned for May 21 at the First Christian Church of Platte City.


James Albert, weighing seven pounds. was born Dec. 21, 1976 at Spelman Memorial Hospital. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. (Buddy) Aikmus, Jr.

The Fred Rollins family gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rollins, Jr. There were 26 guests present including nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.


Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shanks of Dearborn announce the engagement of their granddaughter, Theresa Ann, to Steven R. Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Perry, Platte City.


Miss Carole Kelly, daughter of Mrs. Loretta Kelly, recently finished her practice teaching at Plattsburg. Carole has now completed all requirements for graduation at Missouri Western State College. She is qualified to teach either elementary or secondary education and is also certified in coaching.
