To open in late 2022

Wells Bank, Platte City, has announced plans to construct a new banking facility at the Creekside Development in Parkville.

The bank says the new Creekside location will allow existing Wells Bank customers more flexibility in their banking needs while giving southern Platte County consumers and business owners a chance to experience the exceptional customer service that Wells Bank provides.

“Wells Bank is a true community bank that has served the Platte City community for over 100 years. Every decision we make has a community banking influence which gives us an advantage in today’s banking landscape” said Robert Barmann, chief executive officer.

The new 4,500 square foot Creekside facility includes an open concept lobby that incorporates modern banking technology and design and will have two drive thru lanes, one with ATM access.

This location will be a full-service bank that offers personal and business account options and competitive loan products for consumer and commercial needs.

Wells Bank is a $340 million bank headquartered in Platte City, and currently has four other Missouri branches located in Kansas City, Maryville, Savannah and Oregon.

The new Creekside facility in Parkville is scheduled to open for business in the fourth quarter of 2022.
