EDITOR:

At first I thought the headline in the recent Landmark, “Attorney General Investigating Parkville” was recycled and I was going to comment on you being lazy by reusing old stories. Then I read the article about another public records complaint being filed and that the attorney general decided there is enough validity to the complaint that he has agreed to investigate.

My next thought was how many times do you pound your head against the wall before you realize that is a painful thing to do? How much will Parkville taxpayers be willing to pay for settlements to end another lawsuit and pay for their own attorneys to defend the city fathers and the city?

I hope the next election will turn over city government to responsible and ethical people. Fortunately I see that at least one (so far) person has decided to run for mayor. I certainly hope that he has and will bring the skills to make it happen and will attract others to run for office.
