EDITOR:
Three questions every Parkville citizen should ask the mayor and aldermen with regard to the proposed sports complex at Platte Landing Park.
1. Will the citizens of Parkville be given the opportunity to vote as to whether or not they want a multi-million dollar sports complex built in the Platte Landing Park. (Note: Don’t fall for their line that this was voted on by the public on April 2, 2019. On that ballot there was nothing on that ballot about a sports complex.)
2. Does it make sense to build such an expensive complex on a flood plain beside a wetlands area?
3. Will you promise the citizens you will support a policy that anyone renting/leasing these fields will not be allowed to make a profit from their use?
