Mr. and Mrs. Tim Shanks of Kansas City announce the birth of an eight pound, five ounce daughter, Victoria Lynn, on Oct. 22, 1976. Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Medina of Fairway, Kan. are the maternal grandparents and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shanks of Ferrelview are the paternal grandparents.


Mr. and Mrs. Donald Katlin of Farley have announced the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Katherine K. Katlin to Robert John Werline, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert James Werline of Platte City. The wedding vows will be exchanged on Oct. 30 at 3 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Moore, Jr. of Platte City announce the birth of their daughter, Andrea Marie, on Sept. 22, 1976 at General Hospital in Kansas City. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Shanks of Dearborn and the paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Moore, Sr., of Madison, Mo.


At the homecoming in North Platte, Susie Radmacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Radmacher, was crowned queen.


On Oct. 24, 1976, Miss Saralyn Stubbs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Stubbs of Dearborn and Kenneth Hay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hay, Sr., were married at the New Market Christian Church.
