Mr. and Mrs. Kutzli and Tammy have moved back to Platte City from Phoenix, Arizona where they have been living the past several years.


Dick Woodson, with the Air Force stationed in England, has been visiting Platte City relatives and friends for the past several days.

Mrs. Lucile Jones was among the Northwest Press members who were guests of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Foster at Maryville last Saturday evening for dinner and the football game between NWMSU and SWMSU. Northwest Missouri State University won the game to climax an enjoyable evening.


The Platte City Pirates defeated their Blue Jay rivals from West Platte last Friday night 24-0. The Pirates scores 11 points in the second quarter then scored again in the third and fourth quarters.


Mr. and Mrs. Gareth Cannon of Farley moved over the weekend to their home in Platte City that they recently purchased.


Mr. and Mrs. Earl Newton, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Taulbee and daughters attended a family dinner Sunday at the home of Mr. Newton’s sister, Mrs. John Carter and Mr. Carter in Brookfield, Mo.
