.Crews will close all MO Route 152 ramps at N. Platte Purchase Dr. beginning Tuesday, September 7 and continuing until Sunday, May 15, 2022 for road construction work

*Note: Some of the ramps will reopen approximately Monday, Nov. 22.

Diverging Diamond Interchanges work well in areas of heavy traffic. A major benefit of a DDI design is that it allows motorists to make left turns without crossing in front of oncoming traffic, thus providing safer traffic flow.

MoDOT was the very first US agency to construct a DDI. Crews constructed a DDI in Springfield, MO at the junction between I-44 and MO Route 13. Work began in January 2009 and was completed in June 2009.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
