Park Hill buys land for future school

Park Hill School District

At Creekside

Park Hill School Board President Janice Bolin announced last week that the school district has purchased about 29 acres of land at the southwest corner of the NW Brink-Meyer Road and Creekside Drive intersection in Parkville.

Park Hill plans to use this property to build a future elementary school.

School officials said that over the past year, the school board reviewed potential sites. The district closed last week on the purchase of this land from Parkville Development 70, LLC, for $1.4 million.

According to records available through the Missouri Secretary of State’s office, Brian Mertz, developer of Creekside, is the owner/registered agent of Parkville Development 70 LLC.
