The annual Parkville Days celebration returns this year. Enjoy the three-day event Friday through Sunday, Aug. 20-22 in downtown Parkville.

One of downtown Parkville’s largest events, the Parkville Days festival features a variety of family-friendly entertainment. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy live music along the Missouri River and on Main Street.

This year’s musical headliner will be Casi Joy of Smithville, who has made a name for herself after appearances on the television show The Voice. She’ll be the main stage entertainment on the McKeon Stage in English Landing Park on Friday night, Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Various other musical acts will also perform throughout the weekend, both on the McKeon Stage and in the Pocket Park on Main Street.

The Evans Midland Empire Carnival is open all weekend, starting Friday at 6 pm. Browse and enjoy arts and crafts, retail, food, and specialty booths. Participating downtown shops will host their “end of” sales and specials.

A parade will be held on Saturday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at 63rd Street and Hwy. 9 and ends in Historic Downtown Parkville.

. Restaurants will be open all weekend – Visit local favorites.

. SHOP all of local businesses on Main Street, East Street and English Landing Center. Many new businesses have opened this year.

Enjoy English Landing Park – miles of walking trails, pickleball, playgrounds, frisbee golf, sand volleyball, basketball

. Platte Landing Park and the dog park will be open all weekend.

. Parking Lot at 6th Street and Hwy 9 (east side)

. Parking on Main Street and south on Main Street into Platte Landing Park

. Ballfield south of City Lot/Carnival
