Cherry Bomb to perform Saturday night on courthouse lawn

The last summer music concert of 2021 is this Saturday evening, Aug. 14 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the lawn of the Platte County Courthouse on Main Street downtown Platte City.

Featured performer on Saturday is the group known as Cherry Bomb, known for their ‘dancin-rockin-grooving-soothin’ musical sounds.

Bring your lawn chairs or lawn blankets.

While supplies last, there will be free ice cream, hand-held fans and water bottles provided by Wells Bank.

Platte City Friends of the Arts organizes and sponsors the annual summer concerts series. Financial sponsors this summer have been: the City of Platte City, Platte County Parks and Recreation Outreach, Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies/Missouri Arts Council, Wells Bank, Platte City Lions Club, Central Platte Fire Protection District, Pine’s Hairstyling and Tanning (Ron Pine), Keller Williams Realty-The Edlin Team (Platte City), and Wilson Floor Coverings (June scholarship singing contest).
