Weston will once again be hosting a Fourth of July celebration, with a highlight being a Navy band.

Platte County to update its public records procedures

The Weston Rotary will be handing out 300 free ice cream pops and bottled water from 4-5 p.m. downtown.

The Navy’s traveling Classic Rock band will be setting up on Main Street around 1:30 p.m., and playing from 4-5 pm. Come meet and greet folks.

6 p.m. music on Main Street, provided by DJ Alan Lintner

6 p.m.-10 p.m. McCormick’s on Main satellite bar located in the 400 block of Main Street

9:45 p.m. FIREWORKS OVER WESTON. Weston Masonic Lodge will shoot fireworks from the bottoms across the railroad tracks and the display will be visible at many locations around town, including the soccer field, Benner Park, Sharp’s Market, Trex Mart, City Hall parking lot, The BunkHouse, and of course Main Street in downtown Weston.

Organizers said there is no July 4th parade this year due to volunteer commitments.
