The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic changes as part of a resurfacing project along Hwy. 9 in Platte County. All work is weather dependent.

* Crews will intermittently close eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 9 between the I-635 overpass and Downtown Parkville from 7 p.m. Monday, March 22 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 23

* Crews will close the I-635 northbound ramp to Route 9 northbound from 7 p.m. Monday, March 22 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 23

* The ramps at I-635 and Route 9 will intermittently close but will immediately reopen as soon as the above lanes are clear.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
