A 13-year-old Weston boy has died from injuries he sustained when he was struck by a vehicle on Hwy. 45 in Weston near the intersection with Fifth Street Saturday night, March 13, the Platte County Sheriff’s Department reports. The teen died on Monday night, March 15, said Major Erik Holland with the sheriff’s department.

Holland said the boy, identified as Chase Archambault of Weston, was one of three juveniles trying to run across the highway when Archambault was struck by a southbound 2018 Chrysler Pacifica driven by 48-year-old Stephen Heim of Ferrelview.
