I keep reading about Parkville’s efforts to keep everyone in the “dark” about their actions as public officials. According to their actions, they don’t need to worry about such small matters as a Sunshine Law, court subpoenas, or public image.
Then it struck me. The Parkville aldermen must be vampires! That would certainly explain their fear of being out in the sunshine. After all, we all know that sunshine can kill vampires so that explains their reasons for staying in the dark and fighting as hard as they can to keep from being exposed to the sunlight. And that could also explain why they can’t read letters from the attorney general, the judge in the current lawsuit, etc. since it is SO dark down in the dungeon beneath city hall.
