Robert C. Ham of Parkville recently was presented a watch for 30 years of service at Western Electric and Mrs. Ham was presented a pin in honor of the occasion.


The Park Hill Acapella Choir will present their 24th annual spring concert March 14 at 3 p.m. at the Parkville Presbyterian Church.

Bob Woodward, PX installer/repairman for United Telephone Company at Platte City, has been promoted tot he position of commercial forecaster at United’s General Office in Jefferson City, Missouri.


Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lewis announce the birth of their second daughter on Sunday afternoon, March 7, 1976 at Spelman Memorial Hospital in Smithville. The baby weighed six pounds and two ounces and has been named Lori Lyn. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Hackett and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lewis are the paternal grandparents.


Mrs. Ailene Foster returned Sunday after a trip of 16 days duration. She and Mrs. Marie Harris visited the principal coastal cities of Florida and particularly enjoyed the trip to Key West from Miami.


Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Burns were honored with a reception March 7 at their home in tribute to their 40th anniversary.
